Food was excellent. Love the home cooked and family owned and operated atmosphere. Service was... meh, but they were quite busy.

Lakeside is always great! Be advised if you order a full/large omelette you will be full! Staff is always nice and the food is always spot on! Highly recommend.

Great little place. Food was hot, great tasting and was quickly served. The staff was pleasant and very helpful! We jumped off 131 North to get a quick dinner at 5:00 pm on a Wednesday night off season. We got dessert to go! The selection of pies is amazing!

Atmosphere is friendly. Food is good and you get a lot for the money. Restaurant is clean and bright. They treat you like family. Breakfasts are awesome.

I was in a group of 8 diners for lunch. The server was friendly and didn't confuse the orders (which is easy to do with a group). The chicken wrap was very tasty, and others had good reports of various other sandwiches. The road in front of the restaurant was under construction, but there was still a good crowd of local diners. This restaurant is just off the White Pine Trail, and is a good destination if you are out bicycling. Just don't eat too much pie in that case! :)

Waitresses were nice. Prompt service. The chili was decent. My hot tea was just warm barely, but it's a nice atmosphere and its clean.

My son and I wrote our bike from Rockford and stopped to have a bite to eat, we both had fish and chips.the coleslaw was homemade and was very good, the fish was fresh and the batter crispy and light. The prices were very affordable at 8.50 for three pieces of fish, fries and coleslaw. The roll was baked in house and served warm, the wait staff was very nice. We will be back!

Second time eating here. Had all you can eat fish. It's our new favorite place. Small Town, downhome comfort food. Ignore the very very very few poor reviews given. If you expect high end dining and food, don't eat here. It's terrific small cozy restaurant with very friendly staff, good prices and AWESOME FOOD.

Went on a day with all you can eat perch.. Both versions fried or grilled were very good.. little greasy but to be expected.. Nice size salad..!! Really really good potato salad is it house made? We'll return for sure..

I was more than satisfied with the food here. We ordered the three griddle pancakes and a large meat lover omelette and for the price the portions were huge! We came on 4th of July so it was a bit busy, but the wait staff was amazing and friendly. Only reason I didn't give a five star is that the water tasted like I was drinking pool water and the soda we ordered too tasted like flavored pool water. Either over filtered or whatever water hook up is overly treated. We couldn't finish our drinks it was so strong. But other than that, everything else was 5 stars!!!!

Impartial to the Friday fish special. Can't beat it for the money. Unfortunately their soda doesn't taste quite right, but they do not care if you bring your own like some places. Service is usually good, but usually pretty busy on a Friday night.

Wondering why the wait staff did not wear a mask...We came in with ours on. Removed them once seated. And the tables need to be spaced further apart...Nothing was moved. The food there is always great! But need to know that they take their customers safety a priority.

What a great diner! The people were very friendly and welcoming. The food was absolutely amazing. Tasted great. If you like the diner atmosphere, I highly recommend this place. I'll be coming back for sure.
